What is Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS): The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) is a UK government grant that provides financial assistance for eligible electric vehicle owners to install a dedicated electric vehicle charge point at their home. The scheme aims to encourage more people to switch to electric vehicles by making it more convenient and affordable to charge them at home. Under the EVHS, eligible applicants can receive a grant of up to 75% of the cost of purchasing and installing an electric vehicle charge point, up to a maximum of £350 (including VAT). The grant is available for most electric vehicles, including pure battery electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
